Language development is often fostered through play. Join in for this session of tabletop games just right for PreK-3rd grade children which are quick to learn and play. Each game fosters language growth through conversation, labeling, or basic reading. While we play the games, we will discuss applications in our libraries. Everything from choosing a game collection, storage and logistics, and game play will be discussed. Tabletop gaming has experienced a resurgence in popular culture and there are more choices available than any one gamer can play. Many libraries are expanding game collections and programing. Your library could be next!
