Carolyn Vibbert is a practicing school librarian in Northern Virginia with over 20 years of experience as an educator. Carolyn holds National Board Certification in K-12 Library Media. She is a past president of the Virginia Association of School Librarians. She has served on several AASL committees and presented at local, state, and AASL National Conferences. Carolyn is an elementary librarian in Manassas, Virginia; a past-president of the Virginia Association of School Librarians, and an adjunct instructor at Antioch University Seattle.
Carolyn is an excited tabletop gamer and practices most of her games with her niece and nephew or her fellow librarian “Book People” game group. After creating a board game collection for circulation, attending the AASL GAME conference (2016), and using games in library instruction and a school game club, Carolyn has a knack for modifying games to meet the needs of elementary students.
