Dan Nathan-Roberts, Ph.D., CHFP, CNZHFE is an associate professor at San Jose State University. He has a background in Human Factors, innovation, and systems engineering. Dr. Dan has worked in industry as an engineer domestically and abroad, worked at US and New Zealand government regulators, served as a consultant and innovation coach, and worked in academia. Dan’s research interest center on human factors; physical and cognitive ergonomics including; patient-centered healthcare information systems, human-robot interaction, and quantified-self technology. Dr. Nathan-Roberts is certified in online education, engaging students with a hands-on approach and is an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
