Kaela began as a participant in Building Equity Based Summers in 2020, and had the chance to facilitate BEBS conversations. Now, as a California State Library team member, Kaela helps to plan, support, and work with the BEBS teams and libraries to support equitable services in libraries, starting with traditional summer services.
