Jennifer Goodland is the Reference & Instruction Librarian at San Juan College in Farmington, New Mexico. She was recently the Library Director and professor of history, English, and photography at Lamar Community College in Lamar, Colorado. She has been in academic librarianship since 1996. She pays tribute to her Choctaw ancestors and seeks to redress their exclusion from Eurocentric educational modes.
