I've been an academic librarian for the past 19 years. I've spent the last 7 years teaching first year seminars to incoming freshman. These are 3 credit courses that focus on writing, critical thinking, and information literacy, I live and work in Des Moines, Iowa. When I'm not on campus I can be found spending time with my wife and dogs, telling stories at my nearby brewery, or out riding my bicycle.
