Lindenhurst Memorial Library
Lisa G. Kropp is the Director of the Lindenhurst Memorial Library and was the Coordinator/Past Coordinator of ALA’s sustainability round table from 2021-2023 . She is a member of the advisory board for the Sustainable Libraries Initiative, and presents frequently on the topics of climate action work, customer service, and human resources. She is very proud of the community library garden that she started at the library in 2017, which has donated over 450 pounds of vegetables and herbs to local food pantries and library patrons to date. When she isn't working, you can find her on a beach reading, collecting cool stones, and picking up garbage.
