Emily Levine currently holds the position of Manager of Adult Services for the Programs and Outreach Department at the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore, Maryland. She oversees programmatic content and workflow for 22 locations, working closely with staff across the city. Her interests include advocating and programming for the Emerging Adult demograhic, outreach for seeking underserved and developing patron bases, developing feedback methods and systems to better library programs for the public, and triving to create inclusive and accessible library environments for patrons and staff.
Prior to joining the Enoch Pratt Free Library, Emily was the Assistant Director of the Brockton Public Library in Brockton. She and her team won the John Cotta Dana Award for Program Design around the Watertown Zine Month Festival during her time at the Watertown Free Public Library in Watertown, MA. Other workplaces include the Brookline Public Library, Library of Congress, and Herbert Hoover Presedential Library and Museum. She lives in Baltimore with her two cats, and enjoys knitting and climbing.
