Rachel West (she/her/hers)

Library Manager
Hockessin Library

Rachel West, MLIS, is the Branch Manager of the Hockessin Library, part of the New Castle County Library system in Delaware. She participated in the Transforming Teen Services grant as a trainer while serving as Youth Services Librarian at the Appoquinimink Library branch.
As a branch manager, she is passionate about empowering staff to make connections in the library and the community it serves to develop meaningful patron-driven services and programs to strengthen the library’s role in their lives and encourage them to be lifelong library users.
