Bette McDowell has been with Pflugerville Public Library since 2010. She is the Head of Adult Services, where she organizes events for adults, as well as special events for the whole community. Her special interests include nature programming, programming for older adults, and maker programming. She currently serves as Chair of the Texas Library Association's Topaz Nonfiction Reading List Committee.
