Kathleen Breitenbach, Teen Librarian at Hamilton Township Public Library in New Jersey, and Liz Deskins, adjunct professor at Kent State University, are the authors of LGBTQIA+ Books for Children and Teens, Second Edition (ALA Editions, 2023), and are currently working on a guide to books and services for neurodivergent youth in libraries. Kathleen is neurodivergent (AuDHD, among others), and from a largely neurodivergent family.
