The ALA Governance Institute (AGI) is inspired by the recognition that association leaders and prospective leaders face, increasingly complex leadership situations, and high expectations for responsiveness to a wide range of constituents and stakeholders. Seasoned ALA leaders, staff, and other subject matter experts will serve as Institute faculty to facilitate breakout sessions in topic areas of intellectual freedom & advocacy, fundraising, crisis communication and governance.
The AGI requires free registration through the LLX registration process, either when you first register or by logging in to your dashboard found in your LibLearnX confirmation. Participation in the AGI is open to the first 200 LLX registrants who sign up; the event is now at capacity.
